Last year, Tiwa Savage reclaimed her spot as the queen of afropop with her most cohesive body of work yet, Sugarcane. Following the release of the EP, she dropped stunning videos for the Wizkid-assisted “Ma Lo” and the titular track.

Now, after featuring on a couple of tracks and teasing a collaboration with Omarion, Tiwa’s back with the steamy video for another one of her EP’s standout tracks: “Get It Now”.

Speaking with The Fader about the EP, Tiwa said:

“The title is ‘Sugarcane’ because the music sounded different and sweet to me. With afrobeat music, I can’t explain it in words you just have to listen and experience the magic.”

The Pro2jay-produced “Get It Now” fits that description perfectly. It’s an incredibly sultry song that finds Tiwa demanding that her lover simply stop staring at her and actually take charge. “The time is running out/You better get it now”, she sings on the chorus.
